PolyData Dashboard Project
The PolyData Dashboard Project was started in January 2008 and will replace the existing BrioQuery/WTS Business Intelligence (BI) infrastructure with a new fully Web enabled infrastructure utilizing the OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition) product. This new infrastructure will also support the provision of more analytical, business intelligence capability such as interactive dashboards. In addition, it will utilize more up to date data warehouse structures such as dimensionally modeled data marts.
This project encompasses the following major set of tasks and deliverables:
- Acquire OBIEE Software
- Hardware/software infrastructure – new BI servers
- Design and development of new dimensionally modeled data marts
- Conversion of existing BrioQuery repository queries to new PolyData Dashboards
